4-wheeling on the ICE!! Who talked me into that?!?

This past Saturday was the annual kickball game on the ice at Christy's.  I've never played, because I'm not a big fan of the ice.  I know, it's safe to be on, but it still freaks me out.  I didn't grow up on it like my husband did...
Anyway, somehow between Brett, Kim and Carrie, I got talked into making the trip across the lake to watch the game and let the kids play on the ice and snow.  Oh yes, and this trip was made on the 4-WHEELER!!
It was a lot colder than forecasted, so we were REALLY bundled up.  Talia was in the front carrier surrounded by big blankets, I think she was the warmest of us all.  Kendall rode in the trailer sled with Carrie and Jackson while Lily and Kim drove.

Eating lunch before heading out to play on the ice!  The trip over went well!

Ice skating with Kayla!

Catch with Jackson!

Here's the group, ready to head home!

Here's a video I got on the way over - I think I was trying to keep my mind off of what I was really doing!  There's some nervous laughter in there...

New Table!

Kendall got a late Christmas gift from Grandma Sue & Grampa Todd - a new table!  Gramma intends for it to go in the screen porch at the new house, but for now it's our dining room table.  :)

Here's her thank you message to Gramma & Grampa!

Snow, Sick, and Strollers, Oh My!

Kendall got to go with Daddy over to Brian's house for boys night (with the kids).  Lily got a bouncy house for Christmas, and they were also planning on playing in the snow and giving 4-wheeler rides.  Kendall had a great time, mostly eating snow!  Hopefully Daddy paid attention to the color...  :p

Snow angels!

Kendall woke up Tuesday with her eyes pretty much crusted shut.  They were pretty swollen too, so I called and got her in to the doc.  She had a sinus infection and a double ear infection.  :(  Poor kid.

She was pretty whiny and lethargic on Tuesday, but she's doing better today.  She has to get eye drops four times/day, can you guess how well that goes?!?  Grrrr... but it's helping, so I'm not going to complain.  As long as we can steer clear of diaper rash from the antibiotics...

We got the new stroller the other day, I'm pretty excited about it!  The girls fit nicely in it.  :)  Kendall liked it so much, she wanted to watch Nemo in it.  It will come in handy for the airport, we have a couple trips coming up!  PS - can you tell how swollen Kendall's eyes are?

What's up, Sista??

Happy 1 Month, Talia!

It's hard to believe that Talia is 1 month old already! I know that it goes fast, but WOW! Kendall and I decided that we would make some cupcakes in celebration. We had some fun!

Kendall was a great helper mixing and putting the liners in the pan.

Too bad Talia slept through the whole thing, oh, and that she can't eat a cupcake. :)

Kendall had to sample the frosting, just like her mama. :)

She made purple, yellow, light green and dark turquoise green.  Quite the artist!

It's hard to see the pile of cupcake in her lap, the frosting on her face and jammies and the chunks in her hair.  I actually didn't freak out despite the fact that I deep cleaned the condo today.  Oh well, recleaning one spot wasn't so bad...

Talia's a little talker now!  Amazing the difference a month makes!

Here's some videos of the cupcake making fun!

She was really good at lining the pan!

Mix it up!

Then we sang Happy Birthday to Talia!  :)

The Difference a Year Makes...

I was backing up my files and came across this video from January 8th 2009.  WOW!  What a difference a year makes!

Trains with "My Friend Daddy"!

Kendall and Daddy went to the trains show at Olbrich Gardens - they had a good time!

They had cookies there too!

Huge fan of trains!

Here's a video, you can hear the excitement in Daddy's voice :p

Kendall's favorite new saying: "My friend Daddy".  "Mommy, I go see the trains with my friend Dad!"  "I build a snowman with my friend Daddy."  It's pretty funny.  :)
Here's a hat that Talia got from "Pretty" Sarah's mom, but Kendall had to try it on too.

Here it is on Talia:
