Indoor Park!

We went to an indoor park in Fitchburg today, thanks to Lora for telling us about it!  It was really crazy, but I'm pretty sure it's because a lot of schools were out today.  Lora said it's not normally like that, so we're going to definitely go again!  It was a lot of fun!

Kendall made a friend while we were there.  She was really watching out for Kendall with all the big kids that were there.  I thought as though I should have been paying this child!  :)

Always a big fan of the rock wall!

Tallyn didn't know why the boat wasn't moving.... :)

Keegan & Fin met us there too!  He's trying to climb the crazy rope wall.

Getting a ride by her buddy...

Teeter-totter with her buddy...

Jumping off the high jump with her buddy!

She's much better at the hula hoop than her mama!

Fin playing bball!
Swinging with Keegan (getting pushed by her buddy)...

Brady being a good big brother spinning Tallyn around...

Hanging with Tallyn on the swingset...

Already dragging the boys around!  :)

The other day when Kendall was supposed to be taking a nap, she decided to get into her sock drawer.  She does this a lot, and when she wakes up and comes downstairs she'll be in different clothes (and sometimes just completely naked).  This particular day, she woke up with socks on her hands.  She also let purple dino and grover get in the action:

Chubby smiles for you!

Been Busy...

We've been busy trying to get through this winter!  I haven't been able to blog much lately, so this will be a catch-all post.  :)
Kendall, practicing her handstands on the couch:

Coloring with Lily, who is 11 months younger than Kendall (but only a few inches shorter).  Lily is going to be a big sister in less than a week!  We can't wait to meet her baby sister!

Um, no explanation needed.... She totally has her "I'm a stinker" face on...

Kendall had fun making Valentines!

Kendall took this pic of me, I think she did really well!  Maybe she's a budding photog!  :)

Kendall had a Valentines party at preschool - it was really cute!  When we first got there she was a little hesitant and pouted for a few minutes.  I don't know how she resisted all that frosting for so long!

She gave in and went for the frosting.

Kendall and her friend Libby :)

Here's her whole class...

They went downstairs for a Valentine movie, but only lasted about 7 minutes.  :)

Then they came back up to play games.  It was pretty fun, I'm glad I could be there!

Sisters just hanging out:

I'm almost as big as my big sister!

We went for a walk yesterday, it was really sunny and quite nice out!

Grandma Sue is in the hospital, she had surgery again.  Hopefully this will be the last one and the doctors will figure out how to keep the cancer from coming back.  This time was a hip replacement, as she had a fractured femur.  Yes, we make sure she has some fun sheets while she's there.  We had a short visit this morning:

Mom wasn't thrilled that I was taking pictures, but I thought they looked cute.  :)
Kendall had fun snacking on the peanut M&Ms and donuts that were there!

After our visit we went sledding.  Talia was due to eat but she decided to sleep in the truck the whole time.

They built a snowman!

Here's a video of Talia snoring in her carseat.  You have to turn up the volume a bit for this one:

Talia loves her tummytime mat!

Here's her sister on it when she was 2 months old:

Talia's Echo

***Warning - MOM - there are lake pictures on here, although we are walking, not riding the 4-wheeler.***

Talia is 2 months old now (I can't believe it!), so she had a repeat echo to check on her heart murmur and defective pulmonary valve (pulmonary stenosis).  She still has the defective valve, but it's not as bad as it was before, and the hole between the atria isn't as bad either.  We had a long appointment with the pediatric cardiologist afterwards who said he didn't need to see her again until she's 1 since everything looked so good.  That's a relief!
Her new favorite trick is sitting up.  Not by herself, but if you help her pull up from laying down, or if she's leaning back on the couch (like in the below picture), she'll try to sit up (and fall over).  :)

Kendall thought it would be nice to feed her baby while I was feeding Talia so I wasn't alone.

Sunday we decided to check out the progress at the new house and play in the snow a bit.  Here's Kendall trying to pull Brett in the sled in the middle of our super-muddy backyard.  Fun!

Heading down to the ice!

New favorite thing to do: eat snow.  Yes, we try to check the color beforehand...

Talia was nice and snuggly warm in the carrier.

Ice skating with Daddy!

Snow angels!

Her gloves got a bit wet after playing a while, so she borrowed Daddy's.

Here's the house from the lake.  The red arrow is pointing at the truck in the driveway, and the blue arrow is pointing at the stairs down to the lake (there are only about 7!!!).  The door in the pink area goes into the spancrete storage (under the garage).  From this view it looks like we won't have a backyard, but there really is quite a bit of room between the house and the lake.  It just happens to be a big mud pit right now.  Hopefully things will move along quickly now and we'll actually make the June completion!
