FL Bound!

Well, we made it to the beach, safe and sound.  There were PLENTY of mix-ups during this trip.
I thought our hotel was one we stayed at before in Schaumburg.  It wasn't.
We ALL thought our flight left at 1... it left at 415.
I sent the completely WRONG flight info to our transportation from the airport... so he was an hour late picking us up.
BUT despite all of that, we MADE it to the beach!! The girls are sound asleep in their beds, and Brett and I are unpacking, but I had to share some pics from our trip so far.

They let Kendall fly the plane!  Well, not really, but the nice pilot let her sit in the cockpit.  Pige wouldn't budge, she just stood at the doorway.  It's pretty intimidating in there!

Thankfully, Pigeon fell asleep.  She was getting really fussy (ok, NASTY...) so I'm glad she finally gave in...

A little vacation...

We've been on a little vacation.
OK, a more-than-a-month-long vacation from blogging.
And when I say "we", I mean "me".
But I have a good excuse~ I've been managing another blog:

...because I was diagnosed shortly after this blog's last post with Thyroid Cancer.  Most of you who would be checking this blog know this, but I wanted to make sure to cover all my bases.  I'm not going to talk about all of that on this blog, so to get caught up, head on over there.
Ok, on with it.
I'll post a little "review" of what we've been up to, but in the meantime, I just had to post this video from the other day.
The weather was SO nice again, so we were outside playing.  The girls decided to drive the Jeep around since I just unlocked the higher speed (5mph).  It looks like they are going 60mph!  They just laugh the whole time.  Anyway, I had to get a video.
