Exploring the Beach

We've been having a great time at the beach.  We've tried to get out early enough to go over to the sandbar, but so far the water has come in too quickly.  Maybe tomorrow we'll get out there in time. :)  Yesterday morning Kendall wasn't in the mood for much of anything, but we did take a nice walk and Daddy even got a jog in.

This morning we did some exploring.

She had so much fun exploring that she had to take a little rest on the walk home.

Pige took her last 2 morning naps in the carrier (I think she had it pretty good). :)

After exploring, Kendall picked flowers for everyone:

We went to the pool this afternoon, and Kendall did GREAT in the waterwings!  She just swam by herself, no help needed!  Here's a video of her jumping in the pool:

Her feet were really pruney by the end of the afternoon!

We've even enjoyed the beach at night.

The girls have been really good sleepers while we've been here, they really haven't skipped a beat.  We're definitely lucky to have kids that adapt so easily!  Here's Talia sleeping like Daddy does (and like she usually does at home) with a blanket on her head.  :)

Florida Bound!

Well, we've made it to the beach, and are having a relaxing, fun time.  It was pretty nice not having to go through airport security with the girls and all our stuff!  Here are some pictures of our trip out here~

Kendall's new haircut!

Well, it's been a long time since I've updated the site, but I thought with Kendall's new 'do, and with vacation pictures on the horizon, it'd be a good time to start updating again.
Kendall's been wanting a haircut since cousin Avery stayed over and we told her that shorter hair = less tangles. We finally decided to do it before our trip so we've been calling it her "beach hair".  :)

She was very happy with the final result!  She kept looking at herself in Sarah's mirror, checking out her new 'do.  :)

Unfortunately it wasn't 10", so it couldn't be donated but she's so tiny it would be down to her knees before it was long enough!

It's summer, I give up.

I've decided I'm not going to even try to keep up with the blog, it's too hard.  We would rather spend our time enjoying family and friends than worry about it!  That said, I'll try to post pics and videos here and there, but not to the extent I was before.
This video features Kendall's big birthday present - her new Jeep - as she takes her sister for a ride.  Not to worry, both girls are strapped in (even though it's a velcro strap, it does a pretty decent job) and we are alongside Talia whenever she's in it.  Although, I don't think she would ever try to get out, she absolutely LOVES this thing, as you'll see.  Turn up your volume as the giggles are contagious:

Almost Crawling!

Ok, I know I said I was going to catch up on my posts, but our wireless here has been awful so I'm hopefully having that fixed soon.  I'll get the pics up ASAP.
In the meantime, I was actually (unbelievable!) able to upload a video that I took this afternoon.  Talia is so close to crawling!  We are NOT ready!!  This was really cute, I had to share.  Kendall is in her Toy Story "panties", which are actually boy's briefs since they don't make Toy Story panties (apparently they don't think girls will like the movie?!?)... she's been doing really well with potty training, I'm the one that forgets!  :)

Neglect...for good reason!

Has it really been a MONTH since my last post??  A welcome break, some of you may be thinking!  ;)  Well, not to make excuses, but we MOVED (yay!!) last weekend and Brett's sister got married (SUPER yay!!!) this past weekend.  So, we've had a little bit on our plates.  Now that things are settling down, I'll have a little more time to update the pictures.  I do have a mountain to go through (somehow the amount I take hasn't decreased with my busyness), so it'll take me a few days to sort and shrink for the blog.  I'll get to it though.
In the meantime, here's some of my favorites from this past weekend - we had a GREAT time at Lisa and Chad's wedding, and are SO happy Chad is officially part of the family now!  :)

Field Trip!

Kendall's preschool went on a field trip last week to Animart.  They got to experience all different animals and pet some puppies and kitties!  This was also her first time on a school bus.  Here they are coming out to the bus:
