Happy St. Patrick's Day and other fun!

We decided to have some fun for St Patty's Day and color Kendall's hair green.  I suppose should have warned school that it would probably get all over everything...

She requested some green glitter on her eyes too!

Pige and I couldn't miss out on the fun!  We decided not to do green hair though.

The leprechauns changed our dinner green!  Cranberry-green muffins, green mac and cheese and green milk! Kendall didn't like the mac and cheese... :o/

Those tricky leprechauns also turned the bath water green!  It was an interesting night!

While we're on the subject of hair, I tried out curlers in Kendall's hair again... it lasted all of 20 minutes.  Oh well, it was cute while it lasted!

Kendall and I went with Carsen and Heather to the Very Hungry Caterpillar at the Overture Center!  It was very cute, and Kendall's first play.  They had the Mixed-Up Chameleon and Little Cloud too, both of which we hadn't read before.

We had great seats and the girls were so excited to sit on the stage afterwards for pictures!

We went to the Great Dane afterwards for lunch.

While waiting for her food, a proper lady puts on her lipgloss.  ;)

Eating some salt and pepper!  Hmmmm... like FATHERS like daughters??

Went to Cold Stone after for some ice cream!  YUMMMMMMM

The girls and I had a solo weekend while Brett went snowboarding.  We walked over to Kim's to hang with the other wives/kids.  It was a fun time.  We decided to take the wagon, pretty soon we won't need the blanket!

There were some friends Pige's age there, she had a lot of fun!

Ice Cream and Bath Crayons

This wasn't what we intended for our tub when we thought to install it, but at least it keeps them busy.  They can color in here for a long time, and since Pige can't get out, it's kind of like a playpen!  Ha!

The other day I was in the mood for a dipped cone from DQ (we call it Gramma Sue's ice cream, since it's her favorite).  We went through the drive through, and I got one for Kendall and for myself.  It was a bit much, but Kendall did pretty good.  I was in a care-free mood that day and didn't care that she was eating ice cream (in a CONE!) in the car.  I guess my neurosis was still on vacation.  After we pulled into the driveway, I decided that since Pige was so good on the way home (she didn't cry at all that she didn't get what Kendall had) I gave her my cone, on which the ice cream was basically cone-high.  She went to town.  She gobbled that up like it was the last cone on the planet.  And she was happy about it too:

After she got a taste of it, she wanted Kendall's when we got inside, and her sister shared!

Um, ok, give it back now...

She wasn't too happy that she had to give it back.

When they won't share clothes or makeup or whatever, I'm going to bust out these pictures.

Then she tried to escape with it!  Ha!
